Like Dance Workouts? Try Masala Bhangra

If you want to get your heart pumping and your body moving, then consider trying Masala Bhangra. Participants learn simple dance moves to Indian party music, burning as many as 7,500 steps a class and building stamina and balance.

The best part is that you don’t have to be a dancer. The class is designed for people of all ages and all fitness levels, says teacher Seema Tatla. Tatla teaches at the UNC Wellness Center at Northwest Cary and is one of just 500 Masala Bhangra instructors worldwide.
